MILAN HILL STATE PARK REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

DECEMBER 2008 UPDATE

The construction and trail work is almost complete at Milan Hill.  Site work and installation of four camping yurts was completed with the assistance of the SCA NHCC.  The forest management operation wrapped up at the end of September creating 7 KM of new ski/walking trails.  The trails will be open in partnership with the Nansen Ski Club this winter.  Summer trail use will be restricted to pedestrian use until the new trails firm up and grass is established.  Roadwork will begin in the spring and is expected to be complete by mid-June.
